The Department of Periodontology of MA Rangoonwala College of Dental Sciences & Research Centre,Pune is conducting a Pre-conference course on BASIC IMPLANTOLOGY as a part of the upcoming PERIO-CONNECT-ISP WEST ZONE PERIO UG CONVENTION 2024 . More than 50 students from different states are participating in this event. The course will be packed with educational lectures on basics of implantology followed by an exciting hands-on session consisting of one implant placement by each participant on dummy mandibles giving the participants an early experience and motivation to enter the world of Periodontology

The college celebrated the “International Yoga Day” on 21 June 2024. This event was held at the Yoga and Meditation Hall. The event began at 8.45 am. The college had invited a qualified Yoga instructor for guidance. 118 participants, including the staff, students and the non- teaching staff participated enthusiastically in various Yoga asanas.
The Yoga instructor also spoke on the importance of Yoga and meditation in our routine busy schedule. The participants took a pledge for regular Yoga practice in their daily life for maintenance of good health
In addition to the above program, the “International Yoga Day” was also celebrated in Azam campus by the M. C. E. Society. All the institutes in the campus, including the students and staff from M. A. Rangoonwala College of Dental Sciences and Hospital participated in the Yoga session. participated in the Yoga Day celebration.
